Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Bill No. 156, Draft 2, which includes the
following amendments:
1. Condition D. Adds "access and roadway improvements at the Queen Kaahumanu
Highway...acceleration and deceleration lands and, if allowed by the State
Department of Transportation, traffic signal lights... shall be completed prior to
issuance of a certificate of occupancy."
2. Condition E. Deletes "all roadways" and Adds "The primary mauka-makai
roadway ...shall be constructed to County dedicable standards. Upon request by
the County, said roadway shall be dedicated to the County."
3. Condition J. Adds "Upon consultation with the County Arborist Council....which
emphasizes the use of endemic Hawaiian plants..."
4. Condition L. Amends and rephrases "protection and/or preservation
of...submitted to the Planning Director for its review and approval prior to any
land alteration activities, upon consultation with the State..."
