RE: Follow-up to letter dated July 13, 2022 to Council: Department of Public Works
Building Division Permitting Process Evaluation and Assessment
Dear Chairperson Ms. David and Council Members:
This is as a follow-up to a letter dated July 13, 2022, addressed to Chairperson Ms. David
and Council Members in regard to the above listed subject. The administration would
like to provide and update and inform the Council that the Building Division Permitting
progress of evaluation and assessment is going well.
The timeline is currently being adjusted due to conflict in schedules with the Consultant,
Director, and staff schedules. The Consultant will be arriving at the end of September,
which is later than originally planned. The administration had planned on the final
report to be submitted to the Council mid-September. However, it is not expected to
be submitted in mid-October.
We will continue to address front burner issues as they arise and keep the Council
updated on the progress. Please feel free to contact me should you have any
questions or if I can be of more assistance.
