SOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROOTS SKATEPARK AT
KAEHAMEHA PARK IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9.
WHEREAS, the Roots Skatepark is located at Kamehameha Park in North Kohala in
Council District 9; and
WHEREAS, there are many improvements that need to be implemented at the Roots
Skatepark, which include, but are not limited to, facility additions, renovations, and other
necessary and appropriate improvements; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to make improvements to the Roots Skatepark at Kamehameha Park in
Council District 9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $10,250
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
