RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW HUMAN RESOURCES PROGRAM SPECIALIST POSITION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources is in need of a Human Resources Program Specialist in the Recruitment and Examinations Division to assign recruitments to staff, review job
postings, supervise staff and perform higher level recruitments; and
WHEREAS, this position is necessary to allow the Human Resources Manager II to focus on larger recruitment projects; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Human Resources Program Specialist, SR-24; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai‘i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to “Create positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council...”;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that one (1) Human Resources Program Specialist, SR-24, position be created in the Department of Human Resources.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the Management and the Departments of Finance, and Human Resources.
