Subject: Resolution to Enter Into Multiyear Lease of Copier
Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Attached is a resolution that would allow the Department of Finance to enter into a multiyear
lease for a copier for Accounts Division. The lease on the present copier was paid off last
year. As it is now over five years old, it is requiring more repairs and having more down
time. By leasing a new machine, we will avoid having to pay steep maintenance costs to keep
the old copier up and running.
