Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 579-22,reports as follows:
Resolution No. 579-22, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 1044
dated September 30, 2022, creates one new Human Resources Program Specialist position for the
Department of Human Resources.
This resolution establishes a Program Specialist SR-24 position for the Recruitment and Examinations
Division.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Section 5-1.3(c), Hawaii County Charter, the Mayor has the power to create positions for
which appropriations have been made by the Council with the consent of the Council.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 579-22, and
recommends its adoption.
