Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 584-22,reports as follows:
Resolution No. 584-22,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 1049
dated September 30, 2022, amends Resolution No. 743-20 authorizing the Planning Department to
award funds to various nonprofit organizations through the Kilauea Recovery Grant Program.
This resolution amends Exhibit A to change the fiscal sponsor for Vacationland Hawaii Community
Association to Men of Pa`a.
Committee Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz asked her colleagues for their support and gave a brief
summary of this resolution.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 584-22, and
recommends its adoption.
