RESOLUTION NO. 604 22
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR MAINTENANCE AND/OR IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS AT VARIOUS COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN
COUNCIL DISTRICT 6.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many
diversified recreation programs in our park facilities and gyms that address the needs and
interests of the community in a safe and well-maintained environment; and
WHEREAS, Council District 6 has various parks and recreational facilities in need of
maintenance and/or improvements; and
•
WHEREAS,these improvements include, but are not limited to, facility renovations,
fencing, landscaping, and other necessary and appropriate improvements; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for maintenance and/or improvement projects at various County parks and
recreational facilities in Council District 6.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $25,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $25,000

(Discretionary Projects—Council District 6,
110.588.5589.42.115)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
