Sako via Communication No. 1072 dated <br /> October 14, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 22-63, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of <br /> Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. <br /> This bill decreases revenues in the Federal Transit Administration Fiscal Year 2021-2022 (-$2,422,928) <br /> and the Section 5339 Capital Grant Fiscal Year 2021-2022 ($-1,861,345) accounts; and appropriates the <br /> same to the Federal Transit Administration Fiscal Year 2022-2023 ($2,422,928) and the Section 5339 <br /> Capital Grant Fiscal Year 2022-2023 account($1,861,345). <br /> Mass Transit Administrator John Andoh appeared before Your Committee to provide some background <br /> on this measure. Mr. Andoh summarized the purpose of this measure, explaining briefly what the funds <br /> will be used for and how these funds will help the department serves the rural community. <br /> Committee Member Herbert M.
