Chung, Council Member Council District 2 SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Bill No. 230; An Ordinance Providing for the Establishment of the County of Hawaii Downtown Hilo Business Improvement District No. 2, as Authorized by Chapter 35 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Business Improvement Districts. Please see below proposed amendments to Bill No. 230. The amendments are illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 230; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. In addition, Exhibits "A," "B" and "C" will be replaced in its entirety with updated exhibits. SECTION 2 of Bill No. 230 is amended to read as follows: "SECTION 2. Establishment of Business Improvement District No. 2. In accordance with the provisions of chapter 35, Hawaii County Code, the Council finds as follows: (1) A Business Improvement District is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of chapter 35, Hawaii County Code, and in accordance with the "Downtown Hilo Business Improvement District Plan" ("District Plan") attached as Exhibit"A" and incorporated as part of this ordinance; (2) The name of the district shall be "The County of Hawaii Downtown Hilo Business Improvement District No. 2" (hereinafter referred to as the "District"); (3) The District Plan shall be administered by the District Association established for the District as defined by section 35-18, Hawaii County Code; Comm.No. Ref.To: P DWI f. ate_ 1022 Hawaii County Is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer
