Additional federal funds in the amount of$219,900 are being provided by the <br /> Office of National Drug Control Policy to be used for operations to investigate drug <br /> related cases. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Police Department's HI Impact Grant account, bringing the total <br /> appropriation to $610,000. <br /> The Police Department respectfully requests that this bill be waived from Committee and <br /> be placed on the December 21, 2022 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of <br /> these funds.
