' 20 23 <br /> RESOLUTIONT IING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR <br /> MULTI—YEAR AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL GRANT <br /> MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE AI`1 FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year agreement <br /> spanning from August 29, 2022 through November 28, 2024 with CNC Consulting <br /> (CNC) to provide grant management services for the Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the grant manager will collaborate with Hawaii Fire Department staff <br /> to ensure successful procurement and payment processing of their grant award as well <br /> as prepare reports, perform grant reconciliation, and ensure legal compliance in relation <br /> to the Firefighters Grant Program (AFG); now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`1: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year agreement <br /> spanning from August 29, 2022 through November 28, 2024 for the <br /> services as described above, for the Hawaii Fire Department. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
