Re: Operating Budget
On November 4, 2022, Ordinance No. 22-110 was adopted amending the Operating
Budget by appropriating $2,500 from the Liquor Control Fund Balance Reserve Account
to the Department of Liquor Control's OCE account for a FY 2021-22 Contingency
Relief award that was not executed.
Enclosed in a resolution to transfer$2,500 from the Department of Liquor Control's OCE
account to the General Fund Sundry Refund account in order to complete the return of
prior year Contingency Relief funds from Liquor Control.

A. REQUEST:
Return unawarded district contingency relief funds to the General Fund.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Reso No 329-22, approved by the County Council on March 9, 2022: appropriation for$2,500.00 from
Council District 6 to non-profit organization We Are Oceania. Grant was not awarded due to the organization
being unable to provide documentation for the minimum $1 million general liability insurance with the County
of Hawaii listed as an additional insured and as required in the District Continency Fund Grant Agreement.
