Projected revenues are being allocated utilizing the same distribution method as prior increments (based on each district's percent of miles of local streets, for all roads maintained by the County). Below is the breakdown of the programs: PROGRAM AMOUNT Roadway Projects (Engineering) $2,000,000 Bridge Inspection, Repair&Replacement Program (Engineering) 1,400,000 Local Road Improvements (Highways) 3,400,000 $6,800,000 The specific projects are listed on Exhibit A of the bill. REQUEST: The Department of Public Works is requesting an ordinance to amend Ordinance 22-64, by adding appropriation to the Capital Budget to appropriate the eighth increment of fuel tax revenue established by Resolution 504-08 and collected from 2022-2024 as follows: PROGRAM AMOUNT Roadway Projects $2,000,000 Bridge Inspection/Repair $1,400,000 Local Road Improvements $3.400,000 Total $6,800,000 Project appropriations are detailed in the attached Exhibit A. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): The method used to distribute revenue allocated to Local Road Improvements is calculated using county road miles and detailed in the attached Exhibit B.
