Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4 (c), I submit Mr. Aaron Spielman for •
reappointment to the Cultural Resources Commission.
The Council confirmed Mr. Spielman on August 14, 2021. He filled the remainder of a term of
resignation with a term expiration date of December 31, 2022. He is now eligible to serve a full
term.
As noted previously, Mr. Spielman, born and raised on Hawai`i Island, is a graduate of Hawai`i
Preparatory Academy and holds a master's degree in architecture with a minor in architectural
history from Savannah College of Art and Design. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending
December 31, 2027.
