Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4 (c), I submit Austin Griffey of District 6 for
reappointment to the Game Management Advisory Commission.
The Council confirmed Mr. Griffey on June 15, 2022. He filled the remainder of a term of
resignation with a term expiration date of December 31, 2022. He is now eligible to serve a full
term.
As noted previously, Mr. Griffey is a lifelong Hawai`i resident and a graduate of Konawaena
High School. He has been a great asset, contributing his expertise and Kokua in promoting and
preserving Hawai`i`s lifestyle of hunting, fishing, and protecting its game species. I-f confirmed,
he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
