Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Samuel Nelson of District 1 to the Salary Commission.
Mr. Nelson has been a resident of Hawai`i for 6 years. He graduated from the University of
Washington, receiving his Master of Business Administration degree. He currently serves as the
Regional Compliance and Contracts Officer for Hilo Medical Center.
Mr. Nelson offers a broad experience in all facets of contract management and is eager to serve,
support, and help our County of Hawai`i Salary Commission. If confirmed, he will serve a term
ending December 31, 2026.
