CALL TO The regular meeting of the Hawaii County Council was called to order at ORDER: 3:05 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Hilo, by Mitch Roth, Chair Pro-Tem. PLEDGE OF The Chair Pro-Tem directed the Council to the next order of business, Pledge of ALLEGIANCE: Allegiance. (At this time, Ms. Kimball led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance.) Thank you, Mayor Roth, for presiding over our first Council meeting of the 2022-2024 session. Our Corporation Counsel did make the suggestion that if he gets to sit here and be one of us for a little while, maybe we should get to sit in the Mayor's seat for a little while. So, if anybody wants to introduce that Charter amendment. He gets to choose which hour. All right. Proceeding on to the business of the day, Mr. Clerk, could you please read in Resolution 2-22. Res. 2-22: DESIGNATES THE COUNCIL VICE CHAIRPERSON Designates Holeka Goro Inaba as the Council Vice Chairperson. Reference: Comm.
