A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR MAINTENANCE AND/OR IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS ALONG HILO BAYFRONT TRAILS IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2. WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many diversified recreation programs and activities that address the needs and interests of the community in a safe and well-maintained environment; and WHEREAS, the Hilo Bayfront Trails is an ongoing project, and the Department of Parks and Recreation would like to enhance user experience by installing exercise equipment along the scenic trails for the public's use and enjoyment; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the purchase and installation of exercise equipment, as well as other necessary expenses for the continued maintenance and/or improvements along Hilo Bayfront Trails; now,therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation for maintenance and/or improvement projects along Hilo Bayfront Trails in Council District 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $5,750 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,750 CREDITED TO: 010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $5,750 Transfer to Capital Projects Fund-G 341 Misc. Charges (Discretionary Projects—Council District 2, 110.588.5589.46.115)
