Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Bill No. 179, Draft 3, which includes the
following amendments:
1. Condition E. Inserts language to preserve the viewplane.
2. Condition H. Inserts language to use appropriate native Hawaiian plants.
3. Condition H (9). Inserts this new section to accommodate the Pu`u Kuili and a
smaller unnamed pu`u.
4. Condition M (1). Amends the language, and inserts the final sentence that the
location of the intersection shall be located immediately makai of the West Hawaii
Veterans Cemetery access.
5. Condition M (2). Inserts alternate language regarding the intersection [M(1)]if the
aforementioned is not approved.
6. Condition M (4). Amends the language with the insertion of "reflected in any of the
approved subdivision or Plan Approval and shall be...in conjunction with any
development affecting said area."
7. Condition N. New language stating that these improvements will be credited or
deducted from the applicant's fair share contribution for park and recreational
improvements and facilities and road and traffic improvements.
8. Renumbers the remaining conditions with appropriate changes.
