No. 17/Res.No. 20-23 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 1:01 P.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 20-23, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 20-23, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 17 <br /> dated December 2, 2022, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one <br /> fiscal year for a multi-year agreement for professional grant management services for the Hawaii <br /> Fire Department. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a multi-year agreement with CNC Consulting <br /> from August 29, 2022 through November 28, 2024, with a cost not to exceed$30,000. <br /> Committee Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder asked Assistant Fire Chief Darwin Okinaka as well as <br /> Deputy Corporation Counsel Dakota"Cody" Frenz to introduce themselves and give a brief <br /> overview of this resolution. Mr. Okinaka provided a brief detailed review of this resolution. <br /> Mr. Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder asked Mr. Okinaka who was responsible for obtaining the grant,to which <br /> Mr. Okinaka replied that it was a collabarative effort.
