Re: Operating Budget

Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by decreasing the
appropriation in the Fire Volunteer OCE account and appropriating the funds to the Fire
Volunteer Equipment account.
Match funding for the Fire Department's Volunteer Assistance Grant is currently
appropriated in their Fire Volunteer OCE account. The department will need the funding
transferred to a new equipment account to purchase a brush truck for Volunteer Station
20-A.

Request for a resolution to transfer an appropriation from 6225.02.231 to a new equipment base 6225.xx in
the amount of$62,500.00.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The funds are matching funds for the Volunteer Assistance Grant and will be used as the match to purchase
a brush truck for Volunteer Station 20-A.
