SUJBECT: Discussion on the review of grant-in-aid applications for FY 23-24 Waiwai grants
program
I am requesting approximately 45 minutes on the next available agenda of the Legislative
Approvals and Acquisitions Committee for the following items:
• Proposal for all Council members to participate in scoring all eligible applications
• Setting a minimum score (60%) for applications to be eligible for funding
• Allowing partial funding as determined by an ad hoc committee after scoring by all
Council members has been completed.
• Expectation of program measures and outputs to be met as stated in the application even
if only partial funding is awarded
