It is my pleasure to nominate David A. Wiseman of District 7 to the Merit Appeals Board.
The Honorable Judge Wiseman retired in 2016 from a distinguished fifteen-year career of
service as a Superior Court Judge for the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana
Islands (CNMI). Prior to ascending to the bench in 2001, Judge Wiseman spent nearly four
decades working in the CNMI in various capacities as an attorney. He has a passion for
government service and looks forward to bringing his judicial experience to the Merit Appeals
Board.
If confirmed,he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
