Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Wil Okabe of District 3 to the Liquor Commission.
Mr. Okabe is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He retired from the County of Hawaii and is a
former Educator at Pahoa High and Hilo High School. He contributed many years of service as a
football, track, and wrestling coach, and also as a volunteer in numerous community
organizations.
Mr. Okabe`s educational background, extensive employment experience, and desire to continue
serving the community through volunteerism make him a great candidate.
If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
