Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Mr. David R. Greenwell of District 9, to the Liquor Commission.
Mr. Greenwell is a lifelong resident of Hawaii and a graduate of Hawaii Preparatory Academy.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969-1989 as a Flight line Supervisor, Crew Chief, and
Mechanic. He is currently employed with the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture.
Mr. Greenwell previously served on the County of Hawaii, Water Board, and Liquor
Commission. He currently serves as a board member of the Waimea Community Association. If
confirmed, Mr. Greenwell will fulfill the resignation of Riley Smith and serve a term ending
December 31, 2025.
