Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4 (c), I submit Ms. Kelly Valenzuela for
reappointment to the Board of Ethics.
Ms. Valenzuela filled the remainder of a term of resignation and is now eligible to serve a 5-year
term.
As noted previously, Ms. Valenzuela is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. She is a passionate
advocate for women against domestic violence and serves as a volunteer with the Salvation
Army. If confirmed, she will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
