Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
In accordance with the County Charter Section 13-4 (c), I submit Ms. Marcia Brinkley for
reappointment to the Veterans Advisory Committee.
As noted previously, Ms. Brinkley served in the US Army from 1974-1990 first as Private First
Class (PFC) student nurse, then as an army nurse in the Army Nurse Corps where she retired as a
major. Upon retiring from the military, Ms. Brinkley became a lawyer, a nurse consultant, and a
writer. She retired again in 2014. If confirmed, she will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
