I <br /> z <br /> ,'dire <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE <br /> HAWAII <br /> e <br /> '�T f.OR•µ',,lq <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 50 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> NATION OF THREE (3) LUCAS COMPRESSION T <br /> EVICES AND ACCESSORIES TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Hilo Medical Center Foundation is donating three (3) LUCAS <br /> Compression System devices and accessories to the County of Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, these devices, valued at approximately $52,760.85, will be utilized by <br /> Fire Department staff for emergency treatment involving chest compressions; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article NIIl, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XI11, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br /> r <br /> i <br />
