Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting the donation of $3,000 from Applied
Technology Solutions, Inc. to be used by the Department of Parks 8v Recreation
to pay for half of the soil covering mix for the refurbishing of the 90-foot
baseball diamond at Kailua Park in Kona.
As the funds have already been received, the department would like this
resolution to be heard at the Hawaii County Council meeting to be held on
December 15, 1999.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of
Parks & Recreation.

RE: Resolution authorizing the acceptance of monetary donation. (Res . 186-99/C-571)
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter placed onto the next Council agenda For review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
