SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 2; ADDING A NEW
ARTICLE TO CHAPTER 2; AND AMENDING CHAPTER 4, ARTICLES 2, 3,
4, AND 9, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS
AMENDED), TO CREATE AN ANIMAL CONTROL AND PROTECTION
AGENCY.
Attached please find a bill for an Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article 2; adding a new Article
to Chapter 2; and amending Chapter 4,Articles 2, 3, 4, and 9, of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2016 Edition, as Amended),to create an Animal Control and Protection Agency.
This bill will be heard before the appropriate committee to meet on February 7, 2023.
