Subject: Support bill 194
Aloha,
Please support Bill 194 as a step in protecting the public from development/developer abuseof land and planning rules.
Making it necessary to notify the desire to extend a permit is an overdue and logical step toward helping to protect the
integrity of land use planning in our county. Unfortunately, if there's a council that has a pro-development majority,this
rule will do nothing to help keep the integrity of planning rules intact making it preferable to deny permit extensions
except in dire circumstances.
Mahalo to councilman Inaba for introducing Bill 194 and for the support of the other council members so that it will
become law.
