Aloha Councilmembers,
I fully support Bill 9 introduced by Councilman Inaba.As we all know,affordable housing is an issue critical to our community.
It is vital that the Hawaii County Council members,as well as the public who can view the meeting, have a clear understanding
of the progress being made toward addressing the lack of affordable housing. I am hopeful that with this transparency, new
legislation can be created to increase the methods and funds available to address this issue.The lack of affordable housing for
our residents is a true crisis,and needs to be treated as such.
