Subject: SUPPORT BILL 22 CONDITIONALLY
I conditionally support Bill 22 regarding the creation of a new Animal Control and Protection Agency. I believe it must include
a resident oversight committee as well as funding to provide free and low cost spay/neuter for cat and dog sterilizations. The
catch/kill model must be stopped and feral animals need to be taken in at shelters. Private citizens and rescues organizations
are overwhelmed by the number of abandoned and lost animals.
