Dear Members of the Hawaii County Council,

My name is Denise M Brown and I am a full time resident of Hawaii residing in Hawaiian
Paradise Park, Keaau.
I am writing in support of Bill 22 CONDITIONALLY -
THIS NEW ANIMAL CONTROL AGENCY MUST HAVE A RESIDENT OVERSIGHT
COMMITTEE, otherwise there is no confidence that things will change.
This will also provide the new agency with better incite & valuable info from the local
residents 'man on the ground' perspective.
Three other priorities must be included:
1) Free Spay/Neuter Clinics
2) The ANIMAL LAWS / ORDINANCES must change
3) The catch/kill model must be eliminated
feel if these items listed above are included in BILL 22, there will be more successful
problem-solving current animal issues AND residents will be encouraged when they see
support/cooperation between citizens and government officials.
