Aloha council members mahalo for hearing my testimony.
My name is Tina Burt-Toland and I am testifying regarding communication 91 re Bill 22-creating an animal
control & protection agency.
Actually I have a few questions .
1.Are the options, now once AGAIN, an agency that has the"authority" to euthanize stray unattended un adoptable
animals?Will efforts be made with outside governmental agencies to re home adoptable pets?Are there funds to do
BOTH?
2.Who is going to hire the "team"that runs the agency?What"Program (s)", if you will, are being considered to mitigate
the over population issues
3. Does the Managing Director over see the WHOLE operation? If not who or what agency/department will over see the
development and internal matters as they arise?
