Subject: Support for Bill 22 deadline feb 6 noon
As a Hilo resident Since 2021, Having decades of animal rescue experience, I'd like to request consideration of bill 22
with the following conditions.
Please Consider that an oversight committee would be very beneficial.
Also very important would be providing free spay neuter clinics.
It may also be helpful to review and update animal laws to reflect the current overpopulation issue.

Reconsidering the catch kill Model at least once these daunting issues of overpopulation can be overcome by New - y
policies to the point its improved enough to allow space for healthy strays to be kept alive for adoption.
Im compassionate and realistic about resources and lack of same to keep all alive always.
I look forward to Learning the outcome of this important legislation.
