HomeMy WebLinkAboutNTC COU PUBLIC HEARING 2023-02-24 2022-2024 RE BILL 230, DRAFT 2 (continuation of 2023-02-07 mtg) JNSY•OF N'gfy Hawaii County Clerk 02/14/2023 02:38:49 PM qrE OF NPS HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUATION Date: February 24, 2023 Time: 6:00 p.m. Place: Hilo Council Chambers, Hawaii County Building, 25 Aupuni St., Hilo, Hawaii 96720 The public hearing convened on February 7, 2023, regarding the proposed establishment of the County of Hawaii Downtown Hilo Business Improvement District No. 2 via Bill No. 230, Draft 2, was put into recess and is scheduled to resume at 6:00 p.m. on February 24, 2023. The timeframe for the owners of real property who would be assessed under the proposed Business Improvement District to file a Declaration of Protest or to withdraw a Declaration of Protest has been extended via this continuation of the public hearing. Declarations of Protest and withdrawals of Declarations of Protests will not be accepted after the conclusion of this public hearing. Any Declaration of Protest or withdrawal of a Declaration of Protest submitted via USPS will be accepted if it is postmarked no later than the date on which the public hearing is concluded. Valid Declarations of Protest that have previously been filed with the Office of the County Clerk remain in effect; no further action is required to formally protest these proceedings.
