SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 51-23; a Resolution authorizing the
Director of Finance to negotiate a Sixty Five-Year Lease with the State of
Hawaii for the purpose of the Development and Construction of a Public Library
by the Hawaii State Public Library System, situated at Waik6loa, District of
South Kohala, County and State of Hawaii, and identified as Tax Map Key:
(3) 6-8-041:020 at a set lease rental amount of$0.00 Per Year
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 51-23. This amendment correctly list
the Hawaii Sate Public Library System as the agency to receive a copy of the resolution.
The proposed amendment is illustrated below in Ramseyer format as applied to the current
contents of Resolution No. 51-23; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material
to be added is underscored.
Resolution No. 51-23 is amended by amending the last enacting clause to read as follows:
`BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Office of the Mayor,the Department of Finance,the Office of Housing and
Community Development, and the [State ef Hawaii Depaftmei4 ef Edtfeatienhibfafy Hawaii
State Public Library stem. "
A draft copy of the Resolution No. 51-23, Draft 2, has been intentionally omitted due to the
limited scope of this amendment.
