SUBJECT: Presentation on Ornamental Horticulture
We respectfully request approximately 30 minutes for presentations by the Hawai`i Floriculture
and Nursery Association(HFNA) President, Eric Tanouye and the Hawai`i Tropical Flower
Council (HTFC) President, Thong Teng Neo. A portion will be for questions and answers.
The purpose of the presentations is to increase awareness of the Council members about the
impact that the ornamental industry has on Hawaii Island's economy.
Please place this item on the CRCOC committee agenda for March 7, 2023.
PowerPoint material will be provided by Glenn Sako as soon as possible.
