BILL NO. 242 (DRAFT 2) ORDINANCE NO. 23 14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15,ARTICLE 8, SECTION 15-68.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION,AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITY SCHEDULE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Purpose. The Department of Parks and Recreation recognizes the need to periodically review the Hawai`i County Code and implement a comprehensive update of the parks and recreational facility schedule. This ordinance adds and removes parks and cemeteries, consolidates certain parks under a single park, adds geographic categories to provide a clearer breakdown of park locations, and adds tax map key parcel identifiers.
