COUNTY OF HAWAII � �''-�. / *- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> TE OFNF'�= <br /> BILL NO. 6 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 23 18 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 22-64, AS AMENDED, <br /> RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF <br /> FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2022 TO JUNE 30, 2023. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 22-64, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and <br /> Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, is hereby amended <br /> by establishing the following program appropriations: <br /> PROGRAM AMOUNT <br /> Roadway Projects (Engineering) $2,000,000 <br /> Bridge Inspection, Repair, & Replacement 1,400,000 <br /> Program (Engineering) <br /> Local Road Improvements (Highways) 3,400,000 <br /> TOTAL $6,800,000 <br /> Allotments from these program appropriations shall be made to be specific projects listed <br /> on the attached Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. Funds for these projects shall be provided from that portion of the <br /> Highway Fund which is designated as the Fuel Tax Increase Account No. 020.3104.06, <br /> and which consists of the increase fuel tax revenues created pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> 504-08. <br /> SECTION 3. The current district apportionment formula for the Local Road <br /> Improvement category of the County of Hawaii Fuel Tax Program distributes funds <br /> among the tax map districts according to each district's percent of miles of local streets. <br />
