Aloha Chair Inaba and Committee Members,
My name is Karen Eoff and I am currently serving as Board Chair of Lokahi Treatment Centers.
Resolution 61-23 provides a very important opportunity to fund our hard-working nonprofit
organizations and programs to address housing and homelessness on Hawaii Island.
Lokahi Treatment Centers provide substance abuse and mental health treatment to the
homeless and at-risk population, which is an important component in our efforts to provide
stability and prepare our clients to enter back into society.
I am in strong support of Lokahi Treatment Centers program, and urge your support of their
proposal to work with the Office of Housing & Community Development.
