HB 955 HD2 to amend Act 32 of 2019 which licensed Certified Professional

Public Education&Advocacy as a midwife. While this was a good start,there were several flaws in the bill.
Secr•etao, The primary flaw was that it identified only one route to certification without
1-8S4-r4JI3!RTI! acknowledging the other routes,all of which require the same content in
Rachel Fos-Tierney,CPM, education,the same supervision of clinical skills,and passing the same
LM Communications national exam. All certification pathways assure the same knowledge and'
skills,and therefore should be acceptable as a qualification for licensure.
