Subject: Hold bill 22 until critical changes/additions are made
I would like to see changes made to Bill 22 before it is passed.
1.An oversight committee with one resident from each district.
2.A requirement for humane animal population management. Preferably to include county funded spay and neuter services
for cats and dogs, including free-roaming cats.
3.Change hold times for abandoned or stray animals to 10 days and reduce the euthanasia rates.
4. Monthly reporting requirements for animal control services and operations for transparency.
