Aloha,
I'm writing in opposition to Bill 12's proposed rezoning from Agricultural 5 acre plots to Residential/Ag 1 acre plots.This is part
of an alarmingly misguided trend on behalf of the planning dept to incorporate more residences into precious agricultural
land.
As leaders and those that define life for all of us, it is your Kuleana to guide us towards a better future. In light of the fragility
of the supply chain, and what little agriculture is done here in proportion to the states population,we must not develop
ANOTHER TEASPOON of agricultural land in the name of higher density development.
Be honest with yourselves,the argument that you are creating homes for Hawaiians is false.These will be more cookie cutter
vacation villas for malihini to invade.What matters for all here is the price tag and what the county will benefit in property
tax.
Would love for you to focus your efforts on other developments like Hawaiian Homes and malaria the people who really
_ matter— instead of lining your pockets with such obviously greedy pursuits.
Following through on this action proposed in Bill 12.will only attract more attention to the already growing awareness of deep
corruption within this county and State. People are already starting to notice things such as the fact there are NO SOLAR
PANELS ON THE KONA POOL,despite the fact that we as taxpayers paid$50,000 for them&one of you from the county
signed off on the work being complete.
The makaz of the kanakas are on you!Vote NO on 12 and stop selling out the people of Hawaii to bloodthirsty developers.We
don't have the infrastructure to support greater density here plain and simple.
