My manao Is about you all being pono in your kuleana.
Being told that county council had to pass this bill by a council member is not true.What is the truth is that you have
your due diligence as I read in my last testimony to read the 253 pg Planning Director Report document so you could
answer the 15 questions I asked.To think of opening up a SMA in the kahaluu historical district is sad that any county
council member would think that a dramatic presentation of an ohana that has and has had so much land would
persuade any council member is sad and disrespectful to all iwi and lineal descendants that have not sold out traditional
values for money.The consequences of this decision on each of you is big because we all know you reap what you sow.
This below addresses another important concept.
"The Sunshine Law is a good concept,to keep business out in the open where we can see it.This is to reduce the number of
back-room deals between officials. It does not seem to prevent one public official from negotiating deals secretly between
contractors or developers. "
My hope is that you will make the right decision and represent Hawaii nei.
Lastly why were testimonies that were written last meeting? I asked a council member after checking the site?Taken off and
why is that? Is the at legal too?
