Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Scott F. Martin of District 7 to the Board of Appeals.
Mr. Martin resides in Kailua Kona and has been a resident of Hawaii County for 20 years. In
1978,he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University in
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In 1996, Mr. Martin earned his Master of Science degree in
Technology Management from Pepperdine University. He also offers an extensive employment
background of experience.
Mr. Martin retired in 2020 and together with his wife, they have been dedicating their time and
efforts as members of the Kona Crime Prevention Committee. If confirmed, he will serve a term
ending December 31, 2027.
