Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Coleman Kealoha Ka`opua of District 8 to the Kailua Village Design
Commission.
Kahu Coleman has been a resident of Hawaii for 60 years. He is a graduate of Hilo High School
and received his Certificate in Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawaii West Hawaii
Campus. He has also completed courses in Leadership and Christian studies, earning his Masters
degree in Intercultural Development from the University of the Nations, Kona Campus.
If confirmed, Kahu Coleman will represent the Cultural and Historic seat with a term ending
December 31, 2023.
