Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Rebekah Lussiaa of District 8 to the Kailua Village Design
Commission.
Ms. Lussiaa has been a resident of Hawaii for 48 years. She is a 1991 Konawaena High School
Graduate and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Sports Medicine from
the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She was also crowned Miss Kona Coffee in 1992.
Ms. Lussiaa is the Owner and Foundation Director of Hale Moana Residential Services, WeGo!
She has also volunteered countless hours with various church organizations, youth programs, and
nonprofit organizations. If confirmed, she will represent the Business/Landowner seat with a
term ending December 31, 2023.
